Cadenhead Creations Light Fruity Sherry 1973 44 Year Old Batch #1

Cadenhead's Creations is a collection of blends, blended malts and blended grains specially selected to fit one of four flavour profiles.

 

This whisky is a blend of Glenfarclas, Glenlivet and Invergordon Grain that has been married for a final year in a fresh sherry hogshead.

 

Tasting Notes:

 

Nose : Fudge, macadamia nuts, prunes and soft wood spices

Palate : Fresh whipped cream. Dark cherries and rye like spice.

Finish : Short crust pastry. A nice interplay between the sherry and vanilla notes.
